Design

Horizon International can provide original project design, documentation, and project management throughout the following range of Aquarium Specialist Works services:

  1. Specialist architectural.
  2. Project theming and exhibit content.
  3. Life Support Systems.
  4. Acrylic design and engineering options.
  5. Aquarium specialist lighting.
  6. Exhibit Interpretive graphics.
  7. Specialist dry exhibitry that includes multimedia computer kiosks, animatronics, laser light technology, holography.
  8. Aquarium livestock scheduling and sourcing.
  9. Public and Schools Education Programs.

Contracting

Horizon International, together with its partners, sub-contractors and specialist consultants provides a competitive edge with access to the most suitable personnel for each specific service we offer. Our contracting services include:

  1. Life Support Systems fabrication, supply and installation for natural seawater, artificial salt water systems or freshwater aquariums.
  2. Acrylic panels, cylinders, and underwater tunnels supply and installation.
  3. Artificial freshwater and marine habitats including dry dioramas and walk-through artificial forests complete with waterfalls and in-situ integrated aquariums.
  4. Aquarium-specific interpretive graphics panels.
  5. Livestock supply and introduction within the new facility.

Operations Management

Horizon International can facilitate the sourcing of an Aquarium Curator and operations staff for the new facility. During the pre-opening and post-opening stages of the new facility, Horizon International can be contracted to provide:

  1. Assistance with aquarium staff recruiting and appointments.
  2. Staff training for all aquarium staff, in-house education staff, exhibit’s staff.
  3. Operations Management assistance for senior staff.
  4. Facility Management and on-going curatorial advice and overview.
